The White Settlement Historical Society invites members, their guests and interested members of the public to attend the meeting of the Society.

The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. with a guest speaker or program, followed by the Historical Society’s Fall business meeting. Light refreshments will be served. The program concludes around 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

Guest Speaker: Lance Tahmahkera, a great-great grandson of Quanah Parker, will give a power-point program on Comanche history from before settlement up to the present day, discuss family members Cynthia Ann Parker and her son Quanah Parker and show some family dress items.

Memberships in the White Settlement Historical Society are available for $10 Annual Individual dues and $15 Annual Family dues. Your application for membership will be voted on at the next Historical Society meeting.
