White Settlement Historical Society Meeting

Meetings begin at 1:30 p.m. with a short business session, followed by a guest speaker or program, refreshments and conclusion about 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

Guest Speaker: Guest Dr. Dawn Youngblood, PhD, Tarrant County Historical Commission Archivist will speak about “The Frances Marion Allen Family Collection” donated by Frances Marion Allen.  The collection contains a lifelong assortment of family materials from her parents Dr. J.W. Allen and Mrs. Daisy Emery Allen, and sister Sheila Emery Allen. The pioneer Allen Family came to Tarrant county in the 1850’s. Frances and Sheila helped bring the W.T. Allen Log Cabin to White Settlement.

Memberships in the White Settlement Historical Society are available for $10 Annual Individual and $15 Annual Family. Your application for membership will be voted on at the next Historical Society meeting.
