At the beginning of WWI Texas had not progressed much beyond the Civil War. With the beginning f hostilities in Europe, Texas underwent a transformation that changed everything forever wit many of those changes still being felt today.
This presentation discusses Texas and World War I from a home perspective and shows how lives, the culture and economy were changed forever.
It begins with the border conflicts from 1910 to 1917 and then continued through the war years, after the war and the lasting effects still evident today.
