“Loop The Loop”  (World Premiere)

Loop The Loop, whose title is taken from the name of a roller coaster at the world famous Coney Island amusement park, is a poetic meditation on, “The heyday and decay of a carnival and a mind. An island aglow and gravity defied! The marbles taken by the tide.” A devised sound and image-based work for the stage featuring movement, puppetry, and an original score (with lyrics/text) performed live by the composer.

The ensemble includes Lake Simons, Jeff Stanfield, Jozy Camp, Paul Logsdon, Stephen McCormick, Maleka Mahdi, Jeremy Jackson, Allen Dean, Frieda Austin, and Elysia Worcester. Lighting Design by Nikki DeShea Smith. Projection Design by Grant Gregory. Costumes by Lauren Moreau.

The Backyard concessions area will feature local musicians before and after each performance and food is also available before and after the show.

The play begins promptly at 9 PM with absolutely no late seating. Gates open at 7 PM, so come enjoy a magical night under the stars.
