The White Settlement Historical Society invites members, their guests and interested members of the public to attend the meeting of the Society.
Meetings begin at 1:30 p.m. with a short business session, followed by a guest speaker or program, refreshments and conclusion about 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
The Rampant Porch Lizards will be musical guests at the 1:30 p.m. meeting of the White Settlement Historical Society on Sat., May 20th, playing a variety of Celtic, Scottish, Irish, Old English Dance, Welsh and Early American musical tunes as well as give a couple of readings from some of the music lyrics and an early 1900’s Appalachian tale.
After the musical program ends, following a short break, members are invited to stay and continue with their 42nd Annual Business Agenda to discuss Society activities and elect new officers for May 2017 – May 2018.
Memberships in the White Settlement Historical Society are available for $10 Annual Individual dues and $15 Annual Family dues. Your application for membership will be voted on at the next Historical Society meeting.
