The White Settlement Historical Society invites members, their guests and interested members of the public to attend the meeting of the Society.
A short business meeting will be held first to discuss Society matters. New officers for 2018-19 will be elected. Our current president Jimmy Weaver will be standing down.
Membership dues help fund our membership affiliated annual Brewer High School Graduate $500 Scholarship. One member has proposed the name of an eligible graduate candidate to vote on during the meeting.
Guest Speaker: Tyler Alberts, Director of the Fort Worth Military Museum
Topic: Presentation on “Camp Bowie 1917-19”, the military post that was located here in Fort Worth.
Consider joining the Society with a $10 Single or $15 Family or Group membership or play Santa, and gift a membership to a family member or friend interested in local history.
